What a Ship
Latchi Queen launched in June 2018. What a ship! Purpose-built from the ground up, or rather from the bottom-up. We wanted to create something outstanding. She is, quite simply, unique! At 24 metres long and just over 6 metres wide she is larger than most other boats.
Many trip-boats have, over the years, been heavily modified to not only accept growing numbers of passengers but also to adhere to increasingly rigorous safety standards. Latchi Queen has hit the ground sea running. Equipped with the latest engines, technology and safety devices she really is fit for purpose. Her two efficient yet powerful engines deliver excellent fuel economy. Great for us, and great for the environment.
Onboard, she is fitted out with high-quality and luxurious tables and chairs, a bar and an entertainment centre.
There are masks and snorkels for all patrons. Safety equipment is readily on-hand. Life jackets are stowed under the seats and life rings can be found throughout the ship. Latchi Queen is in constant contact with the authorities via VHF and carries safety equipment such as flares and life-rafts.
Below you can find some photos of Latchi Queen under construction. We hope that you’ll agree, she’s a beauty. Of course, we can’t wait to see you come aboard. We’ll serve you free drinks and Cypriot appetizers to welcome you onboard. To reserve, simply click HERE and book the type of cruise that appeals to you most. Mornings are very good. Sea Life abounds, especially in June when you have a really excellent chance of seeing Turtles and Dolphins. Afternoons are utterly relaxing and include a traditional Cyprus BBQ – and sunset cruises? Well, if you’ve never seen the sun go down over the Akamas – then this is the cruise you should seriously consider. The Longest day is 21st June 2018, so make a note to do something really special on that day.
